Two-footedness is undoubtedly something very special. But let's start with the basics: For almost all players, the stronger "favorite foot" differs from their weaker "non-favorite foot" initially in that every action with it simply feels much better.
Whether it's a dribble, a pass, or a shot on goal: everything feels easier, safer, and more fluid, in short, better! This feeling often leads even the most skilled and well-trained elite players to avoid using their weaker foot, which they have worked hard to train over the years, in pressure situations, causing them to lose time, miss the right moment, and not capitalize on their scoring opportunities.
This is where we start with our first COGNIGOALS Football Coach module: We take our players' dominant foot out of its comfort zone by improving it with unusual and highly demanding exercises. At the same time, we create a provisional comfort zone for the non-dominant, weaker foot.
By the end of Module 1, the weaker foot will feel better, which is a prerequisite for further developing two-footedness in Module 2.
