Make your players two-footed!

In the first three modules of our Football Coach course, the focus is on acquiring a finely coordinated two-footedness. This is not done in the traditional way (simply by training more with the weak foot) but with the help of the revolutionary and highly effective COGNIGOALS Deep Learning method.

A special kind of training...

There is hardly any training that fosters two-footedness like ours - it is revolutionary! At the same time, our motor-cognitive training requires "blood, sweat, and tears" - also for the coaches. But if you fully immerse yourself in our world, the progress will speak for itself!

Modern football increasingly demands two-footed players...

Two-footedness is a highly valued and rare quality in football players that is greatly admired by commentators, experts, and coaches. Being two-footed makes a player unpredictable for defenders and versatile for coaches, and is therefore considered an exceptional quality in the game of football.

... but traditional training barely improves the weak foot...

Most players, especially younger ones, want to improve their weaker "non-favorite foot" and coaches often set the goal of training and strengthening it through repetition. However, only a very small number of players become truly two-footed through these methods. To reach the next level of the game and have the majority of players be two-footed at the 2026 World Cup, we need to find new and more effective ways to improve players' weaker foot.

... and the foot continues to feel like a hinderance!

The stronger "favorite foot" tends to feel more comfortable and natural for many players, resulting in smoother and more successful actions when dribbling, passing, and shooting. However, this can lead to a one-sided reliance on the favorite foot, even in high pressure situations, causing even elite players to bypass opportunities to use their weaker foot despite years of training. Our COGNIGOALS Football Coach L1 course aims to address this issue and help players develop much greater proficiency and confidence with their weaker foot.

Module 1: Create a provisional comfort zone

In the first module, we take our players' dominant foot out of its comfort zone by improving it with unusual and highly demanding exercises. At the same time, we create a provisional comfort zone for the non-dominant, weaker foot for the first time. In short, we aim to help our players develop a new, good feeling on their weaker foot first.

This is done step by step in the first module by challenging the stronger foot with "inhibition traps" to an increasingly greater extent, which while making noticeable progress, can feel quite demanding.

However, these demanding tasks on the dominant side will be interrupted by brief switches to the weaker foot, which then only has to perform a very simple task. Performing these simple ball contacts represents an improvement for our players because the weaker foot suddenly begins to feel good.

Module 2: Create two-footedness

In the second module, we work to further develop two-footedness by intensifying the use of so-called "transfer effects."

The progress made with the stronger foot is gradually carried over to the weaker foot through these transfer effects. This is done in Module 2 by now having the stronger foot only complete slightly more difficult tasks than the weaker foot. The training alternates regularly between both feet.

Upon completing this module, a finely coordinated two-footeness has been established and the weaker foot is only "one step behind" the stronger foot!

Module 3: Consolidate two-footedness

In the third module, the new two-footedness is consolidated. This is done through a synergetic interaction of sophisticated movement tasks with and without the ball, which involve a constant change of individual movement elements from side to side and also from foot to foot.

The players have to learn to solve the tasks equally well on both sides and with both feet at top speed and then have a noticeable, pressure-resistant two-footedness with variable availability that performs well even under competitive conditions of the game!

Who is this course designed for?

We have created this course for all coaches who want to achieve a competitive advantage for themselves and their players. The course is applicable to all age and performance levels. This includes, for example, the entire youth sector, semi-professional and of course professional players. COGNIGOALS makes everyone better!

How can I test the courses before purchasing?

I'm a player or parent - can I purchase the course as well?

Our Football Coach modules are designed for coaches. The course offering for players (and interested parents) is the COGNIGOALS Player Course L1.

What happens after Module 1 to 3?

The COGNIGOALS Football Coach L2 will consist of modules 4 to 8, which will be released for purchase gradually.

Are the modules also available for individual purchase?

We offer the modules individually as well as in a bundle for even better value. Whether you choose to purchase individual modules or the entire bundle, you will still be eligible for L1 certification.

I have already purchased Module 1, but would like to upgrade to the Football Coach L1 bundle.

Can I skip modules or deviate from the module order?

In order to maximize success for you and your players, it is important to follow the intended order of the modules. This will help to ensure that you have a solid foundation of knowledge and skills as you progress through the training.

There's one exception though: Depending on their level, Pro players can start with later modules (2 or 3).

Are there certificates of participation for the modules?

After passing the final exams of Module 1 and 2, certificates of participation will be issued. These are a prerequisite for the L1 Certificate, which is awarded after completing Module 3.

When will I receive the L1 certificate?

The L1 certificate is awarded after successful completion of the final exam in Module 3, which consists of questions from Modules 1 to 3. It is valid in conjunction with the certificates of participation from Module 1 and 2.
